Improving Corporate Culture


Ethics Resource Center (Arlington, VA):  Hired to serve as the facilitator for ERC's strategic planning process at ERC's 2-day Board of Directors meeting, with the goal of setting out plans and priorities for the next three years and for adopting a series of goals for the Board to adopt moving forward in terms of their own engagement with the organization.

National Association of Criminal Defense Lawyers (Washington, DC):  Developed comprehensive and on-going supervisor-supervisee feedback system, including annual performance review and goal-setting system.

Jewish Community Center of Greater Washington (Rockville, MD):
  Established the JCCGW's current hiring procedures; created the new employee performance evaluation and annual review system; developed goal-setting mechanisms for supervisors and supervisees that promote ongoing employee interaction.

Hillel (Washington, DC):
 
Developed and instituted a first-ever comprehensive year-end performance review process that provided opportunities for feedback, goal-setting, and dialogue among supervisors and supervisees.

Merger & Integration of Non-Profit Organizations


B'nai B'rith Youth Organization (BBYO) and PANIM (Washington, DC):  For 11 months, Mr. Grunewald served as a key volunteer leader in the merger and integration of PANIM with the B'nai B'rith Youth Organization (BBYO), which took effect in September 2009.  Served as chair of the PANIM Strategic Alliances & Transition Committee and worked extensively on legal, organizational, management, and governance issues.  Invited to join BBYO's national Board of Directors (beginning in November 2009).
